The AutoRec Client (and Scan Tool) may be updated in 4 ways.
From within the Client Software itself, when the client software is open, if there is an update available a button will appear next to request support stating Update Available, Click on this button and follow instructions.
Click on windows start button followed by programs or all programs depending on version on windows operating system installed, Look for Autorec folder from the list and click on that, in here you will see either WYupdate or Update Autorec Client, again the option available is based on the operating system installed.
Navigate to the following file path, C:\Program Files (x86)\OCRex\AutoRec Client For older operating systems the (x86) won’t be there, Once in this folder find and run wyupdate.exe and follow instructions given.
Click on Windows Start Button and in search box type wyupdate.exe and click enter and once again follow instructions given.
Client Updating process will look as below.
If there are any updates available they will show in below screen, from here you select next and then update.
Once completed you simply click on finish.
